How this game works
Pick 8 teams: one for each AP Top 25 pod slot (1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25) plus 3 preseason-unranked teams. A pod slot can also take a team from any lower pod, or an unranked team; it can never take a team from a higher pod.
A team that finishes in Final CFP Top 25 earns 3 x (26 minus its final rank), so a No. 1 finish is worth 75 points. Each team also adds its ranking improvement: preseason rank minus final rank, with unranked teams improving from a baseline of 26. Improvement only ever adds; falling in the rankings costs nothing.
Rosters lock when entries close on September 3. Nothing settles until the final rankings are published.
